Management members of Ethiopian Defense University discussed with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan.Today, the Honorable Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Ethiopia, Mr. Ruslan Nasibov, discussed with the management members of the Ethiopian Defense University on issues that they can jointly deal with. In this discussion program, the historical relations between the two countries, especially diplomatically; It was explained to the four-member group led by the ambassador that their relations in the economic, cultural and educational sectors are historic.
In addition, a wide explanation was given to the Honorable Ambassador Mr. Ruslan Nasibov and the team members that the Ethiopian Defense University has contributed to the country's defense by producing professionals since its establishment and that it is a huge institution that is still working to answer the demand of military professionals for the defense of our country.
The group was consulted on educational and research as well as counseling and community-oriented services that can be done together in the same discussion in which the university-managed college commanders/representatives participated. In this way, by identifying issues that can be bound together and preparing a document; It has been agreed upon to prepare a memorandum of understanding for a framework of cooperation and submit it to the Embassy of Azerbaijan through the Directorate of Defense External Relations.
The Commandant of the Ethiopian Defense University, His Excellency Brigadier General Kebede Regasa , stressed to the university leaders that we must continue to strengthen our relationship with the embassy and focus on the points we have discussed and agreed upon.
After the discussion, College of Engineering, Electrical Engineering; Electronics Engineering Laboratories and Aerospace Engineering Workshop were visited by the Honorable Ambassador Mr. Ruslan Nasibov and his team.
