Admission of Foreign Students

Must fulfil the admission criteria of the applicant’s country in to a degree program;
Must submit a medical certificate and security clearance;
A separate guideline shall be provided on criteria for admission of Foreign Students.

Admission of Advanced Standing Students

This admission category applies only for army members and civilians serving Under MoD) and shall be handled as per the regulation and directive issued by MoE and National TVET Agency;
Admission to all undergraduate degree programs with advanced standing level i.e., one who has completed a two year diploma program after grade 12 and/or has a diploma in the same or related field he is applying to, from an accredited institution of higher learning with a CGPA of 2.00 and above;
Technical and vocational education and training graduates with completed 10+3 or an equivalent certificate and passed the national level IV COC examination;
Must pass the university entrance examination;
Graduate of Military fields, who cannot sit for COC exam due to absence of such exam will be treated separately;
Meets the special requirements of the department he/she is applying to;
Must have a minimum of two year service after graduation;
Must have a minimum of two year service after certified as a professional for health science fields;
Can deliver official copies of national health panel professional certificate to the registrar before registration for health science fields;
Willingness to admit in generic program;
Based on the need from MoD the number of advanced standing students to be admitted shall be determined by the AVC in consultation with HRDVC.
Beside the minimum service year required there is a special consideration on working on different level of responsibilities and difficulty of deployment areas for health science fields;
