Meet the required EHEEE score cut‐off point set by the Ministry of Education for eligibility to join a higher education institution for degree program;
Must pass the university entrance examination as necessary;
Must fulfill other criteria that arise from prevailing situations encountered from time to time;
Must not have been dismissed for academic or disciplinary reasons from any higher institution.
Nationality: Ethiopian.

Willing to sign an agreement on rules and regulations of the university, and disciplinary matters, as applicable;
Must produce a certificate of security clearance from nearby administration and/or police station, as necessay;
Must be free from all kinds of addiction;
Must respect the university rules, and regulations;
Admission of self-sponsoring students is on competitive basis.
Admission of Students on Scholarship Basis

Other requirements
The expenses of scholarship beneficiary may be covered fully or partially on their own based on decision of the university/colleges;
Must have a supportive letter from his/her organization or relevant administration;
Must produce a certificate of security clearance from relevant administration and/or police station;
Must be free from all kinds of addiction;
Regular students sponsored by governmental institutions to fill specific vacancies shall be placed in the program that offers the desired study provided that they meet the minimum entrance requirement for the program. However, such admission depends on the availability of space in the particular program.
